Sort of a monkey process set. Top, pencil and ink, second ink, pencil erased, third the Illustrator finish, with some resizing and a bit of rotation.

Spent way too much time on this bit of goofiness. But now it’s out of my system. I blame Peanuts.

Morning warm up, an exercise in simple character design. Color, black and white, low chroma.

A little experiment. I’ve been having a lot of fun drawing the mice recently, so I went back to their origin, which was a single, throwaway appearance in Tamino. I redrew everything in the current style while keeping the setup the same. Then I added color to the characters to help make them pop and to emphasize the dreariness of the mice’s (meece’s?) neighborhood. Just a bit of fun.
